As Devconnect Scholars, participants will bring their unique viewpoints and experiences to enrich the discussions at the event, influencing Ethereum’s future trajectory. Moreover, they will leverage the knowledge gained during Devconnect to drive progress within their respective communities and push the boundaries of Ethereum’s potential.
Selected Devconnect Scholars will receive comprehensive financial support covering transportation, accommodation, per diem, and visa application fees. Additionally, scholars will have the opportunity to engage in both online and in-person meetings, fostering connections and acquiring valuable insights to enhance their experience in Istanbul.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their experience and knowledge in areas such as protocol development, web3 development, privacy, security, crypto-economics, UX, and governance. Eligibility extends to individuals representing underrepresented communities in Ethereum, encompassing both geographic and demographic dimensions. Those who require financial assistance to attend Devconnect are strongly encouraged to apply, while proficiency in English and availability during the event from November 13-19, 2023, are essential requirements.
Devconnect Scholars will be expected to dedicate approximately two hours per week from September to November 2023 to actively contribute to the program. To promote inclusivity, preference will be given to applicants who have yet to attend a large Ethereum conference with an attendance of 500 or more individuals.
